Documentation Packages

CSMI as a company has always focused on the Pharmaceutical and Bio-Tech industries and understands the need for proper documentation and traceability. With each order we process and ship, all applicable certificates of compliance are included. On projects and custom fabrications we provide one of the most comprehensive document packages available in the industry. All documentation that is forwarded to the customer is scanned and electronically filed on our server. With the customers purchase order number, lost or damaged documents can be reproduced in hard copy or mailed electronically.

Parts Marking and Identification

CSMI utilizes a Dot Peen marking system for creating permanent identification of heat numbers, serial numbers or any other parts identification required by the customer. Our equipment utilizes an electrically-actuated, low-stress stylus controlled and programmed with a micro-processor.

Another service available is an Electro- Etching process. Electro-Etching is a permanent, stress-free metal marking process. Useful for marking metal components for parts identification and labeling. The equipment is portable and can be done at the customer's site. Customers have found this service useful to identify components to assure they are returned to the proper area of operation after being removed for cleaning or service.

Tags - CSMI can provide quality stainless steel tags pin stamped with identification numbering for marking valves or other components used in the manufacturing process.

Finishing Services

CSMI has several sources to help you with stainless steel finishing needs depending on what the needs are. We have resources to handle everything from polishing a fitting to resurfacing the interior of a vessel at your site.

Quality Assurance

CSMI has a complete inspection department to assure that all custom fabrications and valve assemblies meet the dimensional and finish specifications required by the customers. Our inspection department utilizes precision measuring equipment for dimensional checks, profilometers for checking surface roughness and can provide Boroscope Videos of non-visible internal areas if required by the customer.
